Paleo Banana Bread Recipe

This paleo banana bread recipe is incredibly moist and simple to make! Gluten-free and made with real ingredients, this bread recipe is a great way to use up any ripened bananas. The kids will love this delicious recipe!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour super fine
  • 1/4 cup coconut flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder gluten free
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar or golden monk fruit sweetener
  • 3 bananas spotty and ripened
  • 3 eggs large
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Optional Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips dairy-free; plus more for topping
  • 1 tablespoon walnuts or pecans chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line an 8x4 loaf pan with parchment paper.

  2. Mash the bananas in a large bowl, and then beat in the eggs, sweetener, and vanilla.

  3. Place a large sieve over the bowl and sift in the almond flour, coconut flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. Fold in the chocolate chips and / or nuts, if using.

  4. Transfer to loaf pan and top with additional chips or nuts, if desired. Bake in preheated oven for 55 minutes or until set. Allow to cool slightly before cutting into slices.
