Melt the chocolate over a double-boiler over medium heat or in a microwave-safe bowl in 20 second increments, stirring extremely well in between to avoid burning / seizing. Once it is just melted, set aside to cool slightly while you blend the other ingredients.
Meanwhile, add the avocado and remaining ingredients to the bowl of a food processor and blend until smooth. Add the melted and slightly cooled chocolate and continue blending until completely smooth. You may need to scrape the sides down a couple of times to ensure it is fully combined.
