Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons ground allspice** see note below for substitutions
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoons ground mace* see note below for substitutions
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Whisk all the ingredients together in a small bowl.
  2. Store in a small, airtight container away from the light until ready to use.

Recipe Notes

If you prefer more of one spice or less of another, adjust the amounts to your liking.

*If you can't find mace or don't already have it in your pantry, feel free to leave it out and swap in nutmeg instead.

**If you don't have allspice in your pantry already whisk in another 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, 1/2 ground cloves, and 1/2 teaspoon of ground nutmeg to make up the 1 1/2 teaspoons of allspice.
