Ingredients

  • 3 medium potatoes , russet or yukon gold, washed and dried
  • 2 teaspoon avocado oil OR olive oil
  • 1/8 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Start by cutting each potato lengthwise, into 1/4 inch wedges.
  2. In a large bowl, combine oil along with salt, black pepper, oregano, smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, and chili powder. Add potatoes and toss to coat, making sure each potato is covered.

FOR THE AIR FRYER METHOD:

  1. Place 7-8 wedges in the air fryer basket, and cook at 400°F for about 10 minutes. Turn each potato wedge over and cook for another 8-10 minutes, or until desired crispiness.
  2. Transfer to a bowl, and repeat with the remaining wedges.
  3. Sprinkle with fresh parsley along with your favorite dips.

FOR THE OVEN METHOD:

  1. Preheat oven to 425 F. Line a baking sheet with foil for easier clean-up.
  2. Place a cooling rack on top and line the fries in a single layer.
  3. Bake for 15 minutes and flip each wedge over. Bake for another 8-13 minutes, or until desired crispiness.
