OPTIONAL SWEETENER OF YOUR CHOICE:

Instructions

  1. Use your scoop or spoon to measure out about out 1.5 teaspoons of matcha powder into your matcha bowl or mug.

  2. Pour 1-2 tablespoons of hot water or boiling water over the matcha powder.

  3. Use the bamboo whisk again to whisk vigorously in a back-and-forth zig-zag motion or a “W” motion for about 30 seconds, until a loose paste forms. This helps to ensure the matcha dissolves smoothly with no clumps.

  4. Fill the cup with the remaining hot water (add sweetener now if using), then whisk again, until small bubbles form. You can also use a handheld frother to create even more bubbles.

  5. Heat your dairy-free milk in a frothing pitcher or on the stovetop until hot and steamy then use a handheld frother to make it even more frothy.

  6. Pour your frothed / steamed milk into mug. Enjoy immediately.
