3 Homemade Cleaners with Essential Oils

These homemade cleaners are super easy to make and are made for general surfaces in addition to wood and stone. Nontoxic and budget-friendly, these natural cleaners are the easiest the make while staying home.

All Purpose Homemade Cleaner

  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon baking soda
  • 2 cups distilled
  • 5 drops essential oil of choice at least 5

Homemade Cleaner for Stone

  • 2 tablespoons mild dish soap
  • 28 oz distilled water
  • 5 drops essential oil lavender

Homemade Wood Cleaner

  • 2 cups vinegar
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 5 drops almond essential oil


All Purpose Homemade Cleaner

  1. Using a container, mix together the baking soda and vinegar. After the vinegar and baking soda have been mixed, then add in some water and the essential oils.

  2. Shake these ingredients in a spray bottle or mix together in medium container. Spray this mixture on any hard surface EXCEPT for wood and marble.

Homemade Cleaner for Stone

  1. For a reusable spray bottle that contains 28 ounces of liquid, add 2 tablespoons of mild dish soap. Fill the rest with essential oil and water. Gently shake.

Homemade Wood Cleaner

  1. In a spray or squirt bottle, mix together two cups of vinegar with two cups of water. Add two tablespoons of olive oil in addition to almond essential oil. Gently shake.
