This short and easy guide on how to make cauliflower rice is super easy, and it can be done with or without a food processor! Cauliflower rice is a healthy option for any casserole, soup, or main dish!
Cut a head of fresh cauliflower into fourths. Make sure to fully remove the green stem from the center of the cauliflower.
With a cheese grater and plate, gently rub cauliflower florets onto the grater. We like to use the medium-sized blades for cauliflower rice.Use the plate to catch the rice.
Once all the cauliflower has been grated, then transfer to a storage container to freeze or use immediately.
Transfer cauliflower to a food processor fitted with the blade attachment. You may have to process in multiple batches depending on the size of your food processor and cauliflower. Do NOT fill more than 3/4 full.
Pulse the cauliflower until completely broken down into couscous-sized granules.
Remove any large unprocessed pieces and grate them by hand or reprocess.
