Air Fryer Fries

These Air Fryer Fries are warm, crispy, seasoned to perfection and out of this world! This 20-minute recipe is sure to become a family favorite side dish, snack or appetizer. Gluten-free, vegan and Whole30-compliant!

Ingredients

  • 2 medium russet potatoes scrubbed, rinsed and dried
  • 1/2 tbsp avocado oil or olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp coarse sea salt or kosher salt, to taste
  • freshly cracked black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • chopped parsley for serving

Optional for serving

  • Compliant ketchup , for serving (we like Primal Kitchen)

Instructions

  1. If your air fryer requires preheating, preheat to 380°F, as needed.

  2. Slice potatoes into even ¼ inch strip fries or alternatively you can use a fry cutter if you have one.

  3. In a large bowl, toss the potatoes with oil and season with salt, black pepper and garlic powder.

  4. Working in batches (depending on the size of your air fryer), place the fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they are not crowding or overlapping.

  5. Air fry at 380°F for 12 to 16 minutes (or longer), flipping halfway through, until desired crispness or until golden brown.

  6. Transfer to a serving platter and sprinkle with coarse salt, chopped fresh parsley and serve with desired dipping sauce.
