This Strawberry Oatmeal is creamy, delicious and so easy to make with just 5 ingredients. A healthy breakfast made with hearty gluten free rolled oats, fresh strawberries, almond milk and vanilla.
Combine oats, milk and salt in a medium pot over medium high heat. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and a gentle simmer. Do not leave unattended.
Once base recipe reaches desired level of creaminess, stir in strawberries, vanilla (and sweetener if desired) until mixed through.
Divide into bowls and more milk as desired and top with fresh strawberry slices and melted chocolate before serving, if desired.
