Toast a slice of bread. While the bread is toasting, scoop out the flesh of one pitted avocado while making sure to get really close to the skin.
Set the scooped avocado to the side.After the bread has reached the desired level of crisp, mash the avocado on toast with a spoon. Add salt and pepper.
