These 20 bright and beautiful macarons are just what we need to welcome the first day of spring and celebrate Macaron Day!
Spring is finally in the air! After what’s felt like a long winter (and week), I’m so excited for the warmer weather, longer days and lighter layers 🙂
Another thing worth celebrating? March 20th is also International Macaron Day! It was started in 2005 by legendary pastry chef Pierre Hermé. The intention was to get people into the bakery to try out a macaron as well as give money to charity while they were there.
If you can’t make it out to a local participating bakery today, I’ve compiled a roundup of 20 Melt-in-your Mouth Macarons from a few bloggers that you can whip up at home for every occasion.
Head over HERE to Parade – Community Table to launch the gallery.

Ahhh macarons! How I love thee. Fantastic round up – they all look amazeballs.
I need to keep track of all these food holidays too. Do you keep a calendar of them all? 🙂

National macaroon day? I had no idea such a thing existed but I think national macaroon day should be every day. Wouldn’t the world be so much better? This is such a great compilation to inspire macaroon creativity.

Thanks Allie! Hope it was okay that I included your Coffee Nutella ones. The kiddos were sick and I was putting this together in a rush so didn’t have a chance to e-mail you.
