This Skillet Lasagna is a fun and easy take on an Italian favorite. It’s rich, creamy, and packed with juicy turkey meat, and takes less than 40 minutes to make. Includes gluten-free, grain-free, dairy-free and vegan options.
Ground Turkey | Garlic | Olive Oil Bowtie Pasta | Tomato Sauce Canned Diced Tomatoes Water | Oregano | Salt | Pepper Red Pepper Flakes | Fresh Basil Fresh Parsley | Cottage Cheese Mozzarella | Ricotta | Parmesan
Sauté garlic in olive oil for 30 seconds, add in the ground turkey and cook until brown. Make sure to crumble it as it cooks and remove any excess fat by draining it. Season with salt and pepper and add in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, oregano, red pepper flakes, and some basil.
Stir in pasta and water and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and cover with a lid. Cook until tender, stirring every 3-4 minutes. If adding spinach, stir in after 10 minutes and cover.
Remove from heat and stir in mozzarella and cottage cheese. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
Top with ricotta cheese and cover for 2 minutes until cheese is melted. Sprinkle with parmesan, parsley, and basil. ENJOY!
